The Call Of The Universe…

In 1997 I came out of the broom closet, but occasionally I have had to shove my broom to the back of the closet a few times since then. However, I no longer try to hide who I am, or drink heavily to quiet the voices in my head, or stop the ringing in my ears. No, I’m not schizo or anything, I can assure you of that at least. I suppose that unless you’re a sensitive, empath, medium, or any of the many types of claire’s, you wouldn’t understand obviously, but if you are, you definitely understand the ringing in the ears, or the voices in your head as the “Universe calling”. As for me, the Universe wouldn’t stop calling, until I finally answered…

The call from the Universe is one that all Medium’s, Sensitive’s, Lightworkers, and Starseeds alike can hear, or feel. It’s a Divine alarm so to speak, that it is finally time to wake up and share your magical gifts with the world. It is a particular call to help others, who may be seeking guidance for things they may not understand, or things they were taught to not believe in, and or even to fear. But fear not! Not everything you were taught in Sunday school is the work of an “imaginary devil”, *no offense to those who follow the dark prince himself*, *or those who loved Sunday school*, the point is, that the unknown supernatural, and metaphysical things in this world are not to fear. Just as humans were once afraid of anything and everything, that they were not properly educated on, the same goes for all of this witchy shit that I’m fixing to mention…

I can assure you, that tarot cards, oracle cards, pendulums, runes, and spirit boards do not lead you at all to the devil, but in fact, *personally speaking of course*, that it does however lead you to buying more of the above listed items. And, if you’re cringing about the spirit board, then scientifically speaking, not spiritually speaking, the spirit board, or aka “Ouija Board”, is a divination tool only, it alone specifically, does not summon jack shit to be quite frank. It’s simply an interesting phenomenon called the Ideomotor effect, meaning “Idea”, and “Motor”, muscular action, referring to the unconscious, involuntary motor movements that are performed by a person based on prior expectations, suggestions, or preconceptions that seemingly “moves the planchette”. Basically, we make movements and yet not realize that we’re making them. They say that the Ideomotor effect occurs that same way as “Chevreul’s Pendulum does, which I’m sure could be seen as to be true, if you are a Telekinetic, but scientists still feel that if you can put your mind to a strong intention, then you can theoretically make the pendulum move where you want your answer to be, due to unconscious muscular movements. Who is that pendulum guy you ask? Michel Chevreul was a French chemist who’s early works were “fatty acids”, found in animals, and “salt Color analysis. However, he was a complete skeptic to the “scientific research” done on spiritualism, that had begun in his time, and a determined enemy of charlatanism. He was also one of the earliest explanations on the ideomotor effect, with pendulum’s, dowsing rods, and table-turning. *And for those muggles in the back rubbing their heads*. “Table-Turning, Table-Tapping, or Table-Tilting, was a type of Seance where the people sit around a table, hands placed on it, and wait for rotations. The alphabet was slowly spoken allowed, then the table would move, or tilt at the appropriate letter, until words were spelled out, “supposedly” by the deceased. *Oops I did it again*. I digressed, and went all witchy nerd on you for a moment, but now you know the “science”, behind the “seance”, so to “spiritually speak”. *I do love puns, moving onward*…

Now I do have a point to all of this, I can assure you. The point being, that the metaphysical world is vast, and nothing like Harry Potter, or Penn & Teller. It is more of a craft, than anything, with several different types of mystical arts, there are even more that follows, and they are all unique to the practitioner. Whether it be divinatory, or witch-crafty, tarot/oracle cards, pendulum’s, runes, or any other type of metaphysical divination tool, is used for spiritual, or inspirational guidance. *And I personally am quite fond of all of them by the way*. After several years of doing any “readings” that were predominantly just for myself, and or close friends, I am now finally going to do readings for the general public. I was not only prompted by the Universal calling, but it was you the public, who have been asking for it as well. I could not set up to do a book signing anywhere, without at least five people throughout the day ask, if I were doing readings or not. Now if that is not a loud enough message from the Universe, than I don’t know what is…

The spirit, or soul’s calling is different for all of us. Some people who answer the call could be healers, mediums, intuitive readers, spiritual life coaches, reiki, or sound therapists. There are even more than that, but I thought it best to list the most popular of the spiritual working collective. For me, I began making the Witch Boxes, Witch Card Holders, and a few other witchy inspired items. Now, I want to add “inspiring others, to always dream big”, to my witchy resume; by spiritual divinatory means, such as: utilizing pendulum’s, tarot/oracle cards, runes, or the numastology dice that I created, based off of my “Daily Life Path Number For Daily Inspiration And Prediction”, than so be it. I am so thankful to the Universe, for inspiring me to come out of the broom closet once and for all, but most of all, for motivating me in finding the courage to do what comes as a natural thing to me. I have always loved to inspire others, I have reached out in the past with the Dream Big show, *which I miss being a part of with each passing day*, and still reach out with this column, my book series, Majick Of The Chosen Ones, and perhaps even the few short films that I’ve written. The best outcome or responses, has been from those who have contacted me, to tell me in which ways, that I have inspired them, and it’s honestly the best feeling ever. So why shouldn’t I channel an entirely new way of inspiring others, than by channeling inspiration straight from the Universal source…

I had meant to write this column prior to my debut as an “Inspirational Reader”, so to speak, *not sure what to officially call myself*, but I’ll go with the above for now. Until then, I will still be known as an author, actor, filmmaker, model me, but with a witchy twist, that is also, still just me being me. And you can find me at The Mystic Orb for my “reading” debut at the end of this month, you may cheer me on, or tease me as a charlatan, but either way, you’ll leave inspired, at least “that’s what I’m predicting”. *Winky emoji placed here*.
