Dream Big

Welcome everyone to our second episode with an amazing guest, who is making his mark on the filmmaking industry. After meeting him on social media, (and my knack for cyber-stalking anyone I am interested in to be a guest on the show) I had to ask if he would do me the honor of making an appearance on Dream Big. I squealed with excitement because not only did he say yes, but he was also willing to come all the way out from Nashville to be on the show, and I am so glad that he did.

I had the pleasure of finally meeting him in person, and getting to really know Derek Banks while we were filming the show, and I've got to say that he is such a talented visionary. I've always been fascinated by the filmmaking process, everything that is involved in the creation, from the writing, to the construction of the set; it all plays a crucial part before the magic truly starts. All fairy-dust aside, it is hard work, they don't say break a leg for nothing you know; you have to love it, or it won't wor...

For the past three hours I have sat in front of the keyboard staring at a blank screen, except for the title. It occurred to me that writers block is not a fabled myth, but a challenge needed to be reckoned with. So I searched for something to inspire me on social media, and that was a wash; so I posted that I was in need of inspiration, and was then given a few options from a close friend of mine. He suggested that I write about my experiences as a nude model, what it is like, what really goes on during the shoot, and how I mentally prepared for it the first time I did it. I thought to myself that although to most it could be a stand alone topic, with generic answers to the questions at hand, but the answers are far from generic or simple. My dilemma now I am having is whether to go into intimate details, or if I should keep things as they are, and let some things remain a mystery. To be honest, I should allow for the unsaid topic remain as it is; a mystery for the time being, and per...

This season of Dream Big has really started off with a bang, with three successful episodes, and the promise of more great episodes to come. Now, we have arrived to our first episode complete with our first guest...

I had the great pleasure of meeting my first guest, Bob Franklin on the set of the movie Dog Years, but I had been following him on social media for some time admiring his work as an extraordinary photographer. It wasn't until I was working on the set of another film titled The Road Less Traveled that I bumped into him again, and was able to watch him perform his magic behind the camera. And just when I thought I had seen it all, the final images were mesmerizing.

I couldn't help myself, I had to have him as a guest on Dream Big, and I was so honored  when he accepted the invitation. If you haven't had the pleasure of working with him yet you should, his work is incredible, and he is such a gentleman. I do hope that one day I will get the chance to model for him; it would be...

At any given moment, our lives can change in an instant. For some, change is just another day at the office because some things never change; it is the same day in and day out. For others, the smallest notion of the possibility for change is mind numbing, change for them could mean disaster because they prefer things to be in constant order without things being different. For myself, change is welcomed, I thrive for nature to take its course so that there is room for growth, and you cannot develop as a person without change. I would not be who I am today without it.

Change has not been easy for me. When I have failed from sun up to sun down on something I have been struggling with, I want to stop what I'm doing and give up. At that point I am done, and there is nothing else I can do about it, or want to do with it. I have done this on several different occasions, but I have come to the realization that it is only a lesson I haven't learned yet. No matter what path you feel is the right...

In my latest column I talked about the three lessons I learned during my time at the Fanboy Expo last weekend. Today, I am sharing all the fun footage at that expo!

When I sat down at the table with my producer of Fanboy Productions, Will Allman, I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. The venue was packed with other venders, and the celebrities were making their way to their booths. I couldn't help myself, but be in complete awe of it all, the hectic sounds from everyone getting ready for the crowds before they make their way in, and the aromas of popcorn, and coffee filled the room; it was almost magical. I was eager with anticipation for it all to begin.

By the end of the weekend I had met so many individuals who were there to make a difference in other people lives, like those who helped with the process of children's adoptions, or the gamers who helped children in the hospitals, and the ladies who helped pull all of their resources in order to help others with their charities. I also...
